Refund policy
At Couch Potato Designs, all purchases are handled with transparency and care. Because our products and services often involve digital files, custom creative work, strategy, design time, research, communication, and project development, refunds are limited as outlined below:
Β
All Sales Are Final
Once an order is placed and payment is complete, sales are final unless otherwise required by law. Please review all product descriptions, service details, timelines, and deliverables before purchasing.
Β
Digital Products
Due to the nature of digital downloads, digital products cannot be canceled, refunded, exchanged, or returned once purchased.
This includes, but is not limited to:
-
templates
-
guides
-
digital files
-
downloadable resources
-

If you experience an issue accessing or downloading your digital product, please contact info@couchpotatodesigns.coΒ so we can help resolve the issue.
Β

Payments for custom design services are non-refundable once work has begun.
Custom design work includes, but is not limited to:
-
creative direction
-
research
-
strategy
-
project planning
-
sketching
-
drafts
-
logo concepts
-
brand concepts
-
revisions
-
client communication
-
design development
-

-
consultation time
Once any portion of the design process has started, the payment is used to reserve time, begin work, and compensate the creative labor already completed. Refunds will not be issued if a client changes their mind, no longer needs the service, chooses not to continue, delays the project, does not use the final design, or experiences personal or business circumstances that affect their ability to move forward.
Β
Project Cancellations
If a client chooses to cancel a project after work has started, no refund will be provided for completed work, time spent, or project development already delivered.
If a project is canceled before any work has begun, a refund may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Any approved refund may be reduced to cover payment processing fees, administrative time or scheduling time already reserved.
Β
Revisions and Scope Changes
Each custom design service includes the deliverables and revisions listed in the original service description, invoice, agreement or project communication.
Additional revisions, new concepts, major direction changes or requests outside the original project scope may require an additional fee.
A revision is an adjustment to an existing concept. A new direction, new design request, or major concept change may be considered additional work.
Β
Project Pauses and Client Delays
If a client needs to pause a project, Couch Potato Designs may allow the project to be paused and resumed at a later date.
If a client does not respond, provide feedback, submit required content, or communicate for 30 days or more, the project may be considered inactive.
Inactive projects may be closed after 60 days of no communication. If the client would like to resume the project after it has been closed, a restart fee or new project fee may apply.
Β
Final Files
Final design files are provided once the project is complete and any remaining balance has been paid in full.
Once final files are delivered, no refunds will be issued.
Β
Product Variations
For both digital products and custom design services, slight variations in color, appearance, or formatting may occur due to screen settings, device displays, printing methods, materials, software, or production processes.
Β
Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If there is an issue with your order or project, please contact Couch Potato Designs first so we can review the concern and work toward a fair resolution.
Unauthorized chargebacks or payment disputes for completed work, delivered files, digital products, or services already started may result in the project being closed and future services being denied.
Β
Exceptions
This policy applies to all digital products and custom design services unless otherwise required by local, state, or federal law.
